Water is escaping under my shower door - how can I stop it?

Leaks under the shower door often occur from missing bottom seals or incorrect door alignment. If you are finding damp patches outside of your shower, completing the following steps can remedy the issue:

  1. Check the bottom seal for wear or damage.
  2. Replace the seal if perished — ensure the lip faces inside the enclosure.
  3. Verify the door gap above the tray is even across its width.
  4. Adjust roller height or hinge screws if necessary.
  5. Reseal external joints if water is pooling along the frame base.

Tip: Use a spirit level to check that the enclosure and tray are perfectly level.
